Excellent! We stopped by Long Shadow on a Saturday for my 30th birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 25 people and they handled us with ease.
It was recommended that we buy a few bottles rather than purchasing the tastings because of the size of our group. They could not have been more correct. Buying the bottles ended up being cheaper and allowed us to roam the beautiful grounds while still tasting the wines! We purchased a couple bottles of the Sangiovese and it’s delicious.
This is my second trip to the winery, both times for birthdays. I will definitely be back.

I love the open space/barn feel when you walk into the tasting room. When we got to the winery the outdoor round bar (another tasting area) was also open, the music was playing, benches with tables spread out all around the grassy area. It felt like a fun picnic with friends.

We just had our wedding here in July and it was perfect and absolutely beautiful! I have been going to this winery for a few years now and everytime I make a trip to Temecula, I am always sure to make a stop here! I took my now husband here and he fell in love with it also! He then proposed to me about a year and a half ago here. So then we just had to get married here! The only downfall to our wedding was of course the heat, but that was out of their control! Really it was us who picked to get married in July. The staff is always so nice and great! They even remember who I am when I go there…not sure if that is a good thing or not. The bartenders went above and beyond to make sure us and our guests were well taken care of throughout the rehearsal, wedding, and reception! And, the wedding coordinator….Sam….was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure I had no stress throughout my whole wedding process. Especially the day of…she ran around the entire day just to make sure everything was perfect! And that it was! I would recommend this winery to anybody! Whether you just want a nice picnic lunch and some wine or if you want to plan a big event with them! This winery will most certainly see me again!

I am definitely a fan of Longshadow Ranch! The overall atmosphere is relaxed and casual. To top it all off, the bartenders area down to earth. Out of the four other wineries we visited, Longshadow was our last stop and ended being my favorite.

Yee Haw – I love this place! I’ve been here several times and it just keeps gittin better n better!
I was fortunate enough to be invited to a Christmas party in their barn – fun! The tri-tip was excellent. And the open bar was even better.
As for the typical day of winery hopping, LSR is a nice diversion from the ‘fancy’ wineries. Here, you feel like you’re far away in the old west. The old west on wine. The staff are really nice. They don’t rush you through the tasting like it’s an assembly line. Rather, they ask you your name…and remember it. They make nice conversation and offer extra pours and take pride in their establishment. Also, I liked every wine I tasted.
